1. Finalize project components, vendors, mobilization plan, implementation schedule, team with Project Manager for the identified project.
2. Engage with the client on project schedule, implementation plan, support requirements along with the relationship manager.
3. Engage and coordinate internal resources, engineers, consultants, and contractors in preparation and execution of project plans through completion.
4. Drive execution of the projects, keeping them on schedule and on budget, while maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
5. Ensure that the necessary approvals are in place and components and parts are delivered at site as per requirements.
6. Ensure project implementation quality.
7. Evaluate and ensure that the contractors are carrying out their respective activities at site as per schedule with an eye toward managing project risks.
8. Present project progress, key findings, and recommendations on Daily basis to Project Manager.
9. Co-ordinate and manage contractors and conduct project meetings to discuss project progress.
10. Review and take ownership of project implementation budgets including cost of permits and fees, third-party consultants, and construction costs for off-site, site work.
11. Work with Project Manager to optimize the cost and timelines including value engineering.
12. Other duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications:
1. Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering candidates with minimum 5 years’ experience in handling solar projects of which at least one ground mounted grid connected project completed as a site incharge.
2. Should have worked on Solar projects.
3. Ability to effectively co-ordinate, manage and implement a project along with all stakeholders viz contractors, team, suppliers, client, locals / ROW.
4. Resolve and report any issues that crop up.
5. Ability to influence different stakeholders to ensure project delivery on time.
Skills Expected
1. Has knowledge in PVSYST and AutoCAD
2. Familiar with static and dynamic behaviours of structures.
3. Awareness of relevant I.S & International codes
4. Project Management Skills.
